- 10+ years'project experience related to Project Cost control.
- Affiliate experience a plus
- Good knowledge of Company Finance and Cost control processes.
- Advanced knowledge & experience in use of relevant computer systems (UNISUP, PIMS (or other information management system, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Prior experience in upstream oil and gas, midstream, LNG, refining, or petrochemicals industry
- Languages: English
Goals
During the Detailed engineering phase, the job holder is accountable to support the Project controls manager with the following:
- To perform and control the activities of the Project Cost Control function.
- To prepare, analyze, evaluate, process and present information and documentation relating to the Project budget and cost control activities.
- To control and input the commitments data means and in particular: Collecting and process all Time sheets, Travel expenses data and documents relating to the team members and contractors. Register the project invoices in the project cost control system
Activities
During the Execution phase of the project the job holder is in charge to:
- To be responsible for cost related activities for the project (Cost report, PDC, Invoice management...)
- To prepare Cost Management Plan and Procedures
- To ensure Contractors compliance to Company's Cost Procedures and policies
- To prepare and defend cost related activities to the Authorities and Partners;
- To provide analysis and support to management to facilitate decision-making;
- to challenge costs and ensure all effort is made to optimize the value for money and maintain expenditure within Budget.
- To participate in the preparation of estimates and control budgets for all stages of the project
- To review Costs variation and alert Project Management
- To participate in the preparation and presentation of subcommittee meetings
- To establish the final cost estimate of the Project
- To monitor and control of the project expenditures
