Job Description

Run the daily maintenance operations of the property and buildings under supervision of the Technical Supervisor and Facility Manager.

Inspect property and buildings for life/safety issues and take immediate corrective action.
.
Identify building maintenance needs, prioritize work and take corrective actions.
.
Perform a full range of skilled building maintenance for extended periods of time.
.
Attend to repairs of maintain a variety of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and building equipment in a timely manner.
.
Report incidents and potential risks that may be identified and take appropriate action to rectify these.
.
Seek permission to access restricted areas of the Hospital.
.
Ensure safe work procedures are followed.
.
Read and interpret sketches, drawings, diagrams and blueprints.
.
Use a personal computer and appropriate computer software.
.
Be a self-starter and work independently in the absence of supervision.
.
Operate with a high level of personal organization and maintain a clean work area
