Full Stack Developer Event Ticketing & Venue Listing Platform

We are seeking an experienced and talented Full Stack Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our event ticketing & listing platform as well as the venue listing and management system. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cuttingedge platform that connects event organizers venues and attendees in a seamless manner.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain the frontend and backend components of our event ticketing and listing platform using modern technologies such as React Node.js and MongoDB.

2. Design and implement robust RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the frontend and backend systems.

3. Develop and maintain the venue listing and management system allowing venues to showcase their spaces and amenities to potential event organizers.

4. Integrate thirdparty services and APIs for payment gateways email marketing and other functionalities as required.

5. Optimize the platform for performance scalability and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

6. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including designers project managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

7. Participate in code reviews unit testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure code quality and maintainability.

8. Stay uptodate with the latest trends technologies and best practices in web development and actively contribute to improving our codebase and processes.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

2. At least 2 years of experience in full stack web development with a strong proficiency in JavaScript React Node.js and MongoDB.

3. Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.

4. Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS and responsive design principles.

5. Knowledge of serverside technologies including Node.js Express and database management (e.g. MongoDB).

6. Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git.

7. Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira Confluence).

8. Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.

9. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

10. Passion for writing clean maintainable and welldocumented code.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Google Cloud or Azure.

2. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

3. Knowledge of event ticketing venue management or related domains.

4. Experience with payment gateway integrations and ecommerce platforms.

5. Understanding of design patterns and software architecture principles.
