Communication Specialist

Responsibilities

As a Communication Specialist (m/f/d), you will take an enthusiastic role and further strengthen the internal and external communication setup for the NCE markets. Your tasks will include:

• Develop and execute external communication and media projects to further, reinforce, and protect Vestas' business goals, market position, and brand reputation
• Cultivate relationships with industry media partners, respond to media requests, and identify key media opportunities to position Vestas in the renewable energy industry
• Foster a deep understanding of Vestas' internal audiences to creatively communicate business strategy and direction while simultaneously building a feeling of belonging
• Conduct research for the preparation of content, including speaker and events briefings, interviews with Vestas' business leaders, specialists and internal and external partners
• Coordinate and perform crisis communications as required
• Communication projects include articles, financial press releases, opinion pieces, presentations, social media posts, infographics, and videos
• Align with the broader Vestas global communications teams to advocate for regional milestones and perspectives
  
  

Qualifications

• Relevant University Degree in business or communication discipline, or equivalent
• Experience working in a similar position within B2B communication
• Experienced in producing texts for internal and external communications including social media, press releases, video editing and image processing
• Good project management skills
• Qualified written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English and German
