Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Design Release Engineer will be pivotal in defining requirements, designing, analyzing, developing, and controlling wiring harness projects. As a central figure in the integration hub development teams, this role bridges development, product management, quality assurance, and other engineering efforts. Key responsibilities include managing the harness lifecycle from source to launch, conducting root cause analysis, implementing engineering and design changes, supporting manufacturing plants, managing issues with cross-functional teams, tracking issues, producing DVRP, writing DFEMA, and utilizing an engineering 'toolbox' for problem-solving. The role also involves contributing VAVE ideas to enhance value analysis and engineering.
