Job Description
Position Summary: A dedicated family in Dubai is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Nanny to provide exceptional care and educational support for their child. We are looking for a professional with a passion for childcare a strong educational background and the ability to create a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safety and wellbeing of the child: Provides vigilant supervision and attentive care throughout the day.
- Starts and ends each day with warmth and care: Assists with morning routines and evening winddown activities including reading bedtime stories and preparing the child for a restful nights sleep.
- Engages in daily learning and play activities: Designs and implements ageappropriate interactive play sessions that stimulate the childs cognitive and motor skills development.
- Supports early childhood development: Encourages the childs growth through structured learning activities focusing on language development basic counting and sensory exploration.
- Prepares nutritious meals and snacks: Ensures the child receives balanced and healthy food tailored to his dietary needs fostering good eating habits from an early age.
- Maintains a clean and organized environment: Keeps the childs play area bedroom and belongings tidy and sanitized ensuring a safe and hygienic living space.
- Communicates effectively with parents: Provides daily updates on the childs activities milestones and any notable observations ensuring parents are informed and involved in their childs development.
- Fosters emotional wellbeing: Offers a nurturing and supportive presence providing comfort reassurance and a listening ear to the childs needs.
- Monitors developmental milestones: Observes and tracks the childs growth and development identifying any areas that may need additional attention or support.
- Promotes positive behavior: Teaches and reinforces good manners social skills and positive behavior through gentle guidance and consistent routines.
- Adapts to the familys schedule and needs: Demonstrates flexibility with working hours and tasks accommodating any changes in the familys routine or special requests.
- Treats the family with respect and professionalism: Maintains the familys privacy and confidentiality always conducting oneself with integrity and professionalism.
- Participates in outings and activities: Accompanies the child on walks visits to the park and other outdoor activities promoting physical exercise and social interaction.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of proven experience as a childcare nanny or in related childcare roles.
- Bachelor s degree in Education or a related field specializing in child development.
- Native English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in teaching children; teaching experience preferred.
- Flexible availability working 10 to 12 hours a day with one day off per week.
- Positive attitude patience and a sense of humor to engage with children effectively.
- Capable of remaining calm and composed under pressure maintaining a positive and nurturing environment for the child.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to highprofile lifestyles.
