Winch Operator

Roles & Responsibilities 1) Actively follow the Safety and Security policies. 2) Operate hoists and winches to lift and pull loads. 3) Awareness on using power-operated cable equipment on winches ie., moving levers and throttles 4) Start and stop speeds of hoist or winch drums in response to a variety of signals, including hand, bell, telephone, radio signals. 5) Use levers and pedals to wind or unwind cable on drums to lift or ground the cargo load. 6) Monitor equipment levers, Indicators, working condition to verify the load position and centre of gravity of the subject cargo whilst lifting/grounding. 7) Repositioning the winch cranes from the shore side to waterside and vice versa based on the requirement.
