We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager/Supervisor to join our team for an exciting preopening opportunity in Jumeirah Dubai. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills a passion for hospitality and significant preopening experience in the restaurant industry.
Key Responsibilities:
PreOpening
- Tasks:Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the preopening phase including staffing training menu planning and setup.
- Ensure that all operational procedures are in place prior to opening day including equipment setup inventory management and vendor relationships.
Operations Management:
- Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning excellent customer service and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels food costs and labor costs within budgetary guidelines.
Staff Supervision and Training:
- Recruit train and supervise restaurant staff members including servers chefs and support staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure high levels of performance and guest satisfaction.
Customer Service and Satisfaction:
- Foster a customerfocused environment by greeting and interacting with guests resolving complaints promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Implement strategies to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Financial Management:
- Prepare budgets monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management review.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant.
- Implement and enforce procedures to minimize accidents and injuries among staff and guests.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor preferably with preopening experience.
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
- Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems.
- Understanding of UAE labor and health regulations.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
