Job Description
- Provide piping and layout engineering support to various projects.
- Ensure that assigned objectives are achieved and that project quality requirements and contractual obligations are met.
- Analyse technical documentation (e.g. specifications, calculation notes, drawings) to assess the scope of studies required and potential risks.
- Estimate quantities or validate estimates made by other specialists in the team
- Check all documents produced (internal or subcontracted) such as design reports, technical specifications, drawings under responsibility.
- Write the Piping and Layout Methodologies / Design Premises comprehensive of all necessary data, general and specific design guidelines.
- Analyse project technical documents to validate consistency between the budget, resources and means allocated for the completion of the work and the objectives to be achieved.
- Organise the work of the responsible team
- Monitor and report on actual progress, including 3D/check for discipline activities, including control of man-hours and delivered documents.
- Control input data for team activities and check/review all documents issued by the team.
- Provide technical support to procurement, subcontracting and construction activities included in the scope of work.
- Oversee the preparation of specifications and requirements and the technical evaluation of bids.
- Assist, when necessary, engineering adjustment on site
