Maintains knowledge of HR policies and procedures to ensure that the development of training is aligned to contents of training programs.
25% - Lead Responsibilities
Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department.
Serves in a consultative and day-to-day lead role to the department in developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
Coaches, mentors, leads and serves as a subject matter expert for the T&E team as well as providing day-to-day project priority and quality review of work produced by the team.
Serves as a backup in the absence of the manager in overseeing the T&E team.
Collaborates with other HR T&E team members on implementing innovative and inclusive training strategies.
5% - Completes other projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, human resources management or related field required.
6 years of progressively responsible human resources experience, of which 4 years of experience must be in training and development, required.
4 years of experience with Adult Learning Methodologies, Learning Management System and facilitation, required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above may also be qualifying.
Preferred Qualifications:
Public sector training and development experience.
Familiarity with Medi-Cal/Medicaid.
Working experience with authoring tools such as Captivate and Storyline.
