Based in Dubai and reporting to the Branch Manager MedAire India Middle East and Africa (IMEA) the incumbent will be a highly resilient and resultsoriented Manager Business Development & Account Management. The incumbent will be directly responsible for managing the allocated sales portfolio serving as the primary contact between the client and MedAire across all Aviation product/service categories.
The BDAM is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with large strategically important clients in Commercial and Business Aviation. The role requires a high level of organization structure and administrative prowess including staying on top of renewals and planning in advance. A willingness to proactively engage in meaningful discussions with all key accounts and keep a constant pulse on their needs and market trends is essential.
He/she will establish maintain and develop longterm business relationships with clients influence the future direction of the categories and ensure specific business objectives are achieved. The BDAM will work closely with the MedAire Europe Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa (APMEA) and Phoenix teams (Headquarter) to develop sales strategy and tactical plans to serve retention purposes. Additionally he/she will engage with the Intl.SOS sales organization to drive crossborder initiatives for existing key accounts.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
Strong Account Management and Sales Experience: Proven track record in managing accounts and achieving sales targets.
Travel: Willingness to travel as required to maximize client interface and stay abreast of market trends.
Personal Qualities: Coachable patient and possesses good time management skills.
Aviation Acumen: Knowledge of the aviation industry is preferred.
Regional Experience: Experience working in the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region and understanding the nuances of doing business there.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills both written and oral.
Presentation and Demonstration Skills: Excellent presentation and demonstration skills both in group settings and on the phone.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills.
Customer and Staff Relationship Management: Ability to effectively manage customer and staff relationships promptly respond to queries ensure promises are kept and manage expectations.
