Trolley Boy

The Trolley Boy is responsible for collecting and organizing shopping trolleys in retail establishments ensuring they are readily available for customer use. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the trolley area providing assistance to customers and supporting the overall operations of the store.Key Responsibilities:Trolley Collection and Organization:Collect trolleys from various locations in the parking lot and store premises.Ensure trolleys are neatly arranged and readily available at designated collection points.Monitor and maintain the supply of trolleys to ensure there are always enough for customer use.Customer Assistance:Assist customers with loading and unloading their groceries into their vehicles.Provide help to customers who require assistance with trolleys or carrying items.Respond to customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate store personnel if needed.Maintenance and Cleanliness:Regularly inspect trolleys for any damage or malfunction and report any issues to the supervisor.Clean and sanitize trolleys to ensure they are hygienic and safe for customer use.Keep the trolley collection area clean and free from debris.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.Ensure trolleys are used safely and do not obstruct walkways or parking spaces.Follow store policies and procedures related to trolley management and customer service.Team Collaboration:Work closely with other store staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or store manager.Customer Service:Provide a friendly and helpful attitude towards customers at all times.Resolve any minor customer issues related to trolleys promptly and courteously.Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers by maintaining an orderly environment.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.Skills:Good physical stamina and the ability to handle manual labor.Strong customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.Attributes:Reliable and punctual.Friendly and approachable demeanor.High level of integrity and professionalism.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand walk and push trolleys for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry heavy items if required.Good physical condition to perform manual labor tasks.Personal Attributes:Professional appearance and behavior.Positive attitude and willingness to assist.Strong work ethic and dedication to customer satisfaction.
