Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, procedures, and guidelines for offshore projects.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits to mitigate potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Provide technical guidance on safety-related matters to project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for preventive measures.
- Participate in project planning and design reviews to ensure safety considerations are integrated into project execution.
- Conduct safety training sessions and workshops for personnel involved in offshore operations.
- Review and approve contractor safety plans and ensure adherence to safety standards during construction, commissioning, and operation phases.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections to demonstrate compliance with safety regulations.
