- Assist in the setup and preparation of the all-day dining area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Take and serve orders, deliver food and beverages to guests with attention to detail and presentation.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle in-room dining orders, including order processing, packaging, and timely delivery to guest rooms.
- Provide attentive and courteous service to guests ordering food and beverages for in-room consumption.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely preparation of IRD orders.
- Process payment for in-room dining orders and maintain accurate records.
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, addressing inquiries and providing information about menus.
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure a positive dining experience in both all-day dining and IRD.
- Manage cash transactions, including processing payments, providing change, and maintaining accurate records.
- Adhere to cash-handling procedures and always ensure the security of cash.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas, including dining rooms, service stations, and IRD delivery equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and responsibilities.
Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members.
- Ability to adapt to different tasks and responsibilities in both all-day dining and IRD. - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items as required in a hospitality setting.
