Job Description
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for substation projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Technical Analysis: Analyze project specifications, technical drawings, and other relevant documentation to understand project requirements thoroughly.
- Bid Preparation: Collaborate with the engineering team to develop detailed and competitive bids for substation projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project execution and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and equipment required for substation projects.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, address inquiries, and provide technical assistance during the bidding process.
- Proposal Development: Prepare well-structured and compelling proposals, including technical specifications, project schedules, and cost breakdowns.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies related to substation design and construction.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets throughout the estimation process, ensuring that proposed costs align with financial objectives and constraints.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimation data, project documentation, and correspondence with clients and vendors.
