Job Description:
- Collaborating with designers and other engineers to translate product concepts into manufacturable mechanical designs.
- Developing detailed engineering drawings and specifications for product components and assemblies.
- Performing mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product functionality durability and safety.
- Selecting materials and manufacturing processes that optimize product performance and costeffectiveness.
- Working with prototypes to test evaluate and refine product designs before mass production.
- Collaborating with manufacturing engineers to ensure smooth transition from design to production.
- Staying uptodate on advancements in materials manufacturing technologies and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering preferably within a product design environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles including material properties mechanics of motion and machine design.
- Proficient in computeraided design (CAD) software and mechanical engineering
