Job Description
Construction Spotter Openings
Liberty, NC
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a critical element of site safety by ensuring that people, equipment, and the site don’t come together in hazardous ways.
- Act as an extra set of eyes for drivers, equipment operators, and individual workers.
- Monitor backing operations to prevent accidents and damage.
- Pay attention to cranes and other equipment operating near overhead power lines.
- Protect vehicles and equipment moving through the site, especially on varied terrain.
- Monitor earthmoving processes and underground utilities.
- OSHA 10 Certification: All safety spotters must be OSHA 10 certified.
- Technical Awareness: Proficient in spotting hazards related to backing operations.
- Familiarity with construction equipment and processes..
- Safety Focus: Strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Attention to detail and situational awareness.
