Staff Data Scientist

About The Role

As a Staff Data Scientist, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and scaling our machine learning and generative AI capabilities. From designing robust ML models to implementing bias mitigation strategies, you’ll lead efforts to ensure ethical AI practices across all projects. Collaborating with internal teams, you’ll architect scalable solutions and provide mentorship to junior data scientists and engineers.

A Day In The Life

• Architect and build scalable machine learning solutions and AI applications.
• Design and implement reusable frameworks to standardize AI model development.
• Lead efforts to uphold ethical standards in AI models and data practices.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business challenges into data-driven projects.
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in AI and machine learning technologies.
  

Your Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with frameworks like PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Proven track record of working with large datasets in a cloud environment, specifically GCP.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining ML pipelines, with knowledge of MLOps principles.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI for data visualization.
• Agile experience using methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
