Job Description

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DWDM/OTN technology.
  • Experience in cloud industry and Service Provider environment is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in DCI network implementation and operations.
  • Expert level knowledge in DWDM/OTN network technologies.
  • Expertise in basic planning, implementation & troubleshooting of DWDM/OTN networks including MS-OTN but not limited to Flex Grid, Super-Channels, Coherent Optical Transmission, CDC, Layer 1 Encryption.
  • Experience in implementation & troubleshooting of Fiber Cable (Outdoor/Indoor).
  • Expert in using testing equipment (OSA, Ethernet Analyzer, OTDR, OLS/PM, etc).
  • Knowledge about Data Centers and their Interconnect requirements.
  • Team player, self-motivated, willing to learn, result oriented, willing to share knowledge.
  • Expert level certificate from Vendors like Ciena, Nokia, etc. is a plus.
  • GCC Driving license is highly desirable.
