Design Technologist

Job Description

• Carry out job assignments dealing with dental laboratory materials such as metallic, acrylic and porcelain as per certification/ apprenticeship/ on the job training and under close supervision.
• Carry out the design, fabrication, modification and repair of a wide range of prosthesis including removable, fixed and appliances used in Orthodontics and Oral and maxillofacial Surgery as per certification/ apprenticeship/ on the job training.
• Ensure that all processes undertaken within the field of work is done in a cost-effective manner with minimum wastage.
• Establish adequate communication between doctor for cases as per requirement.
• Work within a team and acknowledge and Demonstrate skills that promote multi disciplinary collaboration and the development.
• Maintain adequate records and reports related to work.
  

Qualifications

• Two years diploma in dental technology
• Three years diploma in dental technology

Minimum Qualification

• 3-4 years experience in the recognized field
