Job Description
Position: Accounting Controller
About Our Client:

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daytoday operations of the accounting department including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger
Manage and mentor a team of accountants ensuring their work is accurate and timely
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
Prepare and review financial statements budgets and forecasts
Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
CPA designation is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Experience with financial reporting and budgeting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
