Job Description
- Determining the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet company business goals
- Setting the context, defining common elements and creating patterns and standards to apply the details at a project level
- Supporting the senior management and stakeholders in evaluating the business’ mission and ensuring that the company uses its IT assets effectively
- Documenting the process using multiple architectural models
- Generate graphic representations and abstracts of the system architecture models
- Evaluate existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, security or efficiency
- First-hand experience developing and building models based on The Enterprise Framework
- Implement shared infrastructure to optimize information management systems
- Analyse the domains of the enterprise’s structure to improve operations and align the business and technology to be transparent
- Ability to analyse data and information generated by the enterprise and operational labour structure to identify cost-savings opportunities
- Efficiency in time management, project management and demonstrative of the company’s service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- Ensure adherence to development, PMO and IT service management standards
- Manage approval of application build /upgrade designs to ensure that they are in line with all the necessary standards and policies
- Ensure the optimal balance between the development of new systems and leveraging existing systems
- Lead on technical support and onsite support to ensure all issues related to all enterprise solutions are addressed appropriately
- Expert in cloud computing
