We are seeking an innovative and dedicated VP of Operations for our fast-paced scientific industry startup. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading operations and driving growth in a regulated environment. They will be responsible for overseeing the company's manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, and leading strategic planning initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team that is making a significant impact in the scientific field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's aseptic and sterile manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to drive growth and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage the FDA approval process for new products, ensuring all requirements are met and any issues are promptly resolved.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in all areas of operations.
• Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Work closely with other senior leaders to align operational activities with the company's strategic goals.
• Regularly review and analyze operational data, using this information to guide decision-making and drive improvements.
• Ensure the company's 503B manufacturing operations meet all relevant quality and safety standards.
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a VP of Operations role or similar, preferably within a startup environment.
• Extensive experience with aseptic and sterile manufacturing processes.
• Proven track record in managing FDA approval processes.
• In-depth knowledge of 503B manufacturing regulations and standards.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent strategic planning abilities, with a proven track record in driving growth and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and use this to guide decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
• A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
