You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailDevelops and maintains systems for design consultants covering the areas of costs, cost control, estimating and reporting.
Reviews various activities of construction projects regarding changes and submitting them for administrative approvals.
Ensures that cost estimation and cost control requirements for changes are incorporated into bid specification documents.
Reviews cost estimates provided by consultant/contractor and ensures compliance with agreement, contract drawings and specifications and accuracy of company requirements.
Reviews bill of quantities prepared by design consultants and contractors and ensures they are in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Verifies project control budget and updates it as necessary for management approval.
Prepares and reviews forecasts for final project costs, including changes, taking into account commitments.
Prepares and updates cost data to review cost estimate provided by design consultant.
Reviews final cost reports, asset records, and project closure reports for compliance with contract requirements.
Reviews change requests, contract direction notices, change orders, claims, etc.
Performs other similar duties as assigned.
Familiarizes himself with relevant Quality, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health policies, manuals and procedures at Hill International and ensures ongoing compliance with these requirements while working at Hill.
Performs other duties as instructed by Line Manager/Supervisor.
Required profile of candidates
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/QS or related degree.
Ten years of relevant experience.
Certified Quantity Accountant preferred.
Understand costs and FIDIC.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
