Data Scientist

Position Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematical, statistical, or image processing techniques.
• Investigate new analytic methodologies and technologies.
• Develop algorithms and assist in evaluating resources to solve mathematical problems.
• Code, test, and maintain mathematical software tools.
  
  

This position is expected to be fully onsite in Berkeley, MO.

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in computational mathematics or mathematical algorithms.
• Professional experience writing and testing code.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with a high-level programming language such as Python, C++.
  
  

Typical Education & Experience:

Mid-Level (level 3): Typically 5 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Lead (level 4): Typically 9 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
