Here's What You'll Need
As a successful candidate you will:
- At least 4 years’ experience in tunnel design
- Have experience preparing designs and drawings
- Be able to write technical reports
- Demonstrable experience in the design of work packages in the tunnelling sector. Ideally this should cover a wide range of sectors with experience in several or all of the following areas: Metro, Highway, Heavy Rail, Utility and Conveyance.
- Demonstrable expertise in segmental and SCL lining design
- Experience in hard rock tunnelling is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
- MICE Chartered Engineer status
- A sound academic knowledge of civil/tunnel engineering
- Knowledge of relevant European codes and standards
- Strong communication skills with fluency in verbal and written English
- Computer literate in relevant discipline software such as Platis, FLAC, MIDAS and SAP.
- Team player but with an ability to work independently and manage small teams as required
- Planning & organizational skills
