This individual will establish and promote the use of best planning practices across the user community.This will be accomplished through assessing, developing, and enhancing the elements of the supply planning process-IM Plant Planning, EM Planning, Capacity Planning, Network Planning, Material Resource Planning & the link into Integrated Business Planning. The candidate will perform these actions in concert with SC Planning, and strong partnership with IT, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Deliver, and Finance.
The Sr Manager will serve as the region’s liaison for evaluation and implementation of the globally aligned, regionally led supply chain roadmap/strategy, which includes-MEC, OMP, OneS4, MRF, and Digital Core.
This individual will be an integral member of the multi-year Plan Transformation initiative to make a step change in planning excellence inclusive of process, people, and technology.
This individual is responsible for change management and ensuring successful adoption of process and tool changes.The Sr Manager will partner directly with the regional/global talent teams in addition to the regional learning/development leads.
This role and his/her team has accountability for the training program for NA Supply Planning.
The Sr Manager will partner with colleagues in other regions for best practice knowledge sharing/engagement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required, ideally with a focus in Business, Economics or Supply Chain is required.
10 + years of general business experience is required.
5 + years of Supply Chain related experience is required.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP System, specifically with APO-SNP, APO-PP/DS and/or OMP or similar planning modules is required.
A strong combination of supply chain planning and leadership skills is required. Leadership skills in the areas of influencing, negotiation, communication, and change management is required.
This candidate will be a self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a matrix environment.
The candidate should be comfortable working within a “whitespace” environment and will be required to build strategies and programs from the “ground-up” by leveraging insights from industry benchmarks, training, and fundamental knowledge in the Network Supply Planning space.
The ability to effectively manage projects, timelines, and change management is required.
This position will travel up to 25% between Skillman, NJ; Los Angeles, CA; Fort Washington, PA; Markham, Canada and additional international travel.
