•Inspects and repairs vehicles and forklifts with diesel engines
•Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
•Interprets diagnostic test results accurately
•Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans
•Plans & Schedules Preventive Periodical Maintenance (PPM) of the fleet
•Collaborates with other diesel mechanics
•Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
•Ensures minimal fleet down time rate
•Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly
•Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely
•Maintaining parts inventory and minimum order stock
Candidate Requirements
Skills/ Competencies:
•Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components
•Highly organized
•Willingness to work in odd hours and has to be good team player
•Physically fit
•Good verbal communication skill
•Time management and job prioritization
Qualifications:
•Diploma or Industrial Training Degree in Automotive Engineering
Experience:
•Minimum 3 years relevant experience in independently managing the workshop activities
