You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPlans, directs, controls, and coordinates the activities in the department, such as the operation and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment used in air- conditioning, heating, refrigeration, water supply, building facilities and power center of the entire Hotel Apartment.
Also responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of the Hotels paint work, carpentry, electrical appliances, and furniture.
Develops and implements systems and procedures of the preventive maintenance and repair of all machines, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures used in the Hotel.
Prepares and consistently reviews preventive measures and procedures for emergency cases such as fires, etc.
Ensures Hotels compliance with government requirements on records, permits, licenses, etc.
Makes periodic and regular inspection tours of the Hotel to check work progress and condition of building and equipment.
Confers with outside contractors on installations and repairs, coordinating their work with the relevant department employees.
Works closely with other departments on the consideration of new and replacement equipment, furniture, building materials, new construction and building alterations.
Determines cost of recommended changes for budget purposes.
Submits to higher management, periodic reports on breakdowns, repairs and operating costs, utilities consumption, etc.
Advises and confers with higher management on the effective and conservative use of heat, light and power, as well as the proper application of repair and maintenance plans and procedures.
Full Time
