Head of HSE

Responsibilities:

• Advise & aid business unit Workplace Health, Safety & Environmental Managers in the practical application of assigned actions.

• Project Manage regional programs & initiatives from conception to successful completion.

• Assist the regional business units to mitigate identified high risk operations by determining the needed course of action and working directly with business unit(s) in the implementation of the risk reduction controls.

• Assist the Regional Workplace Health, Safety & Environmental Manager in strategic planning of safety & environmental goals and targets to be used in the MEA Region.

• Where required Lead / assist in the investigation of serious incidents; responsible for communication of findings throughout the MEA Region.

• Deputise for the Regional Workplace Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, during periods of absence and business travel.
