• To build strong relationships and partnerships with the customers.
• To be the primary point-of-contact for all Feeder Operators, NVOCC and Main Lines, set and agree on operational KPI’s with our operations as well as each customer, draft yearly volume, revenue and cost budgets in liaison with container terminal operations
• To understand Main Line networking and identify opportunities to attract transshipment volume to Jebel Ali
• To actively engage in-house feeder operator in ensuring all network requirements over Jebel Ali are met.
• To engage with the NVOCC and ensure all TS and volume requirements are duly met and catered to.
• Actively monitor NVOCC and Main Line performance and understand any variances with development and implementation of suitable action plans to ensure volume retention and growth
• To be actively involved in Strategic planning and Development for Feeder Operators/NVOCC focusing on both short and long term planning.
• To lead and represent the Commercial team in meetings with Operations management for addressing concerns of the customers, justify business variations, follow up and resolution of the issues.
• To be responsible for all customer communications, conflict resolution, ensure complaints are logged into the CRM and liaise with customer service section to ensure that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
