Job Description
International architectural firm are looking for a Senior Architect who has experience managing and leading large scale mixed use, hospitality and commercial projects as well as build an architectural team.
You will report into the Studio Director initially however were looking for an individual who will take over from the Studio Director in the future so you must have high level experience.
Must have experience in:
- Work with the client to finalise the project brief for approval and sign-off.
- Revit and summerise all statutory requirements with regards to local and authority submissions.
- Review cost control for turnkey projects.
- Co-ordinating junior technicians and training and supervising technical staff.
- Lead the project team to develop architectural design solutions for the projects.
- Preparing sketch designs including perspectives material selections etc.
- Revise the design based on input from the client
- Prepare drawing documentation after signing final design development by client.
- Present the design concept to the client with the Project Director or in sync with the client owner.
- Visit the site to take site measurements, digital photographs and investigate the area.
- Have project management skills.
- Attend site meetings as neccessary.
- Coordinate with the clients cost consultant/Quantity Surveyor to develop and finalise budget details.
Prepare final as-built drawing documentation to submit to the client.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Architecture or Interior Design
- Minimum of 10 years experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (intermediate to expert)
- Ability to create design details
- Have a great client service ethos.
- Middle East experience
