Business Analyst

Responsibilities:
• Liaise between ITS and other business functions to assure effective delivery of existing ITS services and functionality
• Work to build relationships with the process owners and business functions
• Serve as subject matter expert for a specific area e.g. end-to-end cross departmental process
• Contribute to the knowledge base
• Provide guidance and support to the team and coordinate respective service activities and deliverables
• Responsible for the creation of complex project charters, analyses for value capture, document business needs for specific projects to be chartered
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
