Our client, an international logistics company, is urgently looking for a Supply Chain Planner who will primarily be responsible for all areas of supply planning and inventory management of HoReCa Sales and 3PL/4PL trading module including service delivery, inventory optimisation, and supply chain analytics and reporting.Your other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with brands and internal operations so that inventory supply plans and inventory levels are fully understood by all
- To ensure that supply planning is consistent and optimized versus the forecasts/demand planning.
- Right size inventory and optimize supply plans, including safety stocks positioning
- Control excess, destructions and obsolescence inventory
- Deliver monthly fill rate and inventory projections, drawing insights and delivering course correction where needed
- Support process integration with the Demand Planning, Retail Supply Chain and Distribution & Logistics functions
- Monitor and optimise lead times and MOQs with all suppliers working together with Procurement
- To maintain correct planning parameters in order to drive the SAP/APO planning system and optimise our Inventory.
- Track movement of overseas shipments for on-time
- delivery into warehouse and subsequent delivery to customer.
- Reporting on slow-moving and obsolete stocks.
- Deliver continuous improvement in service delivery through robust root cause analysis
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of Supply Planning / Demand Planning in a well-known FMCG in UAE.
- Possess fundamental Supply Chain knowledge & MRP
- Good IT skills (Ms Office, etc)
- Strong competency in Excel & ERP tools
- Sound decision-making and problem solving skills
- Adapts to change and prioritizes for high-end results
- Acts with initiative and passion for success
- Responsive, dependable and follows through
