Project Architect

Were looking for a Project Architect with 4+ years experience for a growing international practice in UAE. They are a small office in Dubai with 15 staff which they are increasing by 5 in the next month due to an influx of incoming commercial and residential projects.

Youll report into the Design Manager and should have previous experience:

- Concept design, both freehand and computer design.

- Working with other disciplines including building services, architectural technologists, quantity surveyors and construction teams.

- Resolving any issues that arise during the construction phases.

- Preparing feasibility studies and design proposals.

- In concept, schematic, detailed design, tender and construction drawings

- Preparing submissions to local authorities and developers.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Architecture
  
• Minimum 8 years of experience in architecture, project management, detail and design development, construction documents of high-end projects similar to the Vida Residence in Dubai.
  
• Essential that you are currently based in UAE.
  
• Present a portfolio of very high quality projects of similar scale, with experience in the residential / private villa / commercial sectors essential.
  
• Demonstrate a considerable understanding of client communications, contract documentation, project scheduling, team leadership, building design, technical detailing, consultant coordination, and construction administration.
  
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined in an intense collaborative studio environment, ability to organise, encourage and lead project teams.
  
• Posses excellent organisational skills, show initiative and have the ability to work independently.
  
• Understanding of our work and capability to execute its design intentions through various stages to completion.
  
• Excellent written and spoken English.
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
  
• Demonstrate a track record of achieving excellence in project design development and delivery.
