• Train and motivate the team with the aim that they develop and grow.
• Monitor and forecast progress against the plan throughout the year and initiate corrective actions, if required, to drive optimal performance and achieve financial and other business targets.
• Develop the annual restaurant business plan, revenue targets and expense budget and present for review with the Director of F&B to ensure this is in line with Jumeirah Group policies.
• Review reports on competitor activities and industry trends to ensure the restaurant concepts, services and menus deliver required business results.
• Recommend improvements to departmental policies, implement approved policies, processes, and procedures, and provide instructions to colleagues; monitor compliance so that work is carried out a consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
• Develop and implement marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry, attending industry events, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks to stay up to date with international trends and to ensure the competitive advantage of the restaurant.
• Ensure consistently high personalised service standards, good food quality and presentation, in line with guest expectations and Jumeirah standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction reports and respond to feedback and complaints ensuring procedures are followed to preserve the restaurants and the company’s positive image.
