Job Description
ARENGY is a Digital and Engineering Services Companyoperating in the Middle East from Dubai. Our customers are the most successful industry leaders executing projects around the globe.
We are partnering with a very famous high-performance luxury hypercars manufacturer who is looking for his Head of Engineering as a permanent position. This customer is developing several new projects of vehicles including new electrical sport supercar, police / special force cars and other special projects.
The scope of activities of the projects varies from :
- New interior/exterior design & build (change of outside-inside panels, change of seats, change of dashboard and central console, adding new mechanic, electric, electronic equipment )
- Complete vehicle development from style definition to manufacturing
In more details:
- Lead the Engineering team of 10 engineers on multi-discipline aspects (mechanical, electrical, electronic)
- Bring technical expertise to the team, develop methodologies and processes
- Organize and distribute workload among the team
- Develop team spirit, motivate the team, conduct performance review and annual appraisal.
- Capacity to integrate and manage 40 new engineering team members within the coming 1-2 years
- Manage reporting to management
- Identify risks and prepare contingency plans
- Interface with project managers, clients, suppliers, partners
- Business travel when necessary
- Job is based in Dubai
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering.
- 5-7 years of engineering experience on automotive development.
- Very good level of English
- Good team management skills
- Good communication skills
- Well organize, able to work in fast pace environment
- Leadership, capacity to motivate team
- Hard worker
- Not afraid to take responsibilities
- Demonstrated passion for Automotive, especially for Sports Car and Competition
- Capacity to grow to be able to manage a 50-employees engineering team
