Consultant Pediatric Surgery

Performing surgical procedures on newborns with birth defects or other conditions that require surgery immediately after birth
Performing complex surgical procedures on children with congenital heart defects, spinal cord injuries, and other conditions
Operating on children with cancerous tumors or other growths using surgery, radiation therapy, and/or chemotherapy
Consulting with parents about their child’s condition and treatment plan
Performing surgeries on children’s organs, bones, muscles, tendons, and nerves
Providing preoperative counseling to patients and their families about the risks and benefits of surgery
Performing operations to reconstruct or repair parts of the body impaired by disease or birth defects
Prescribing medication to treat pain and infection after surgery
Performing research on new surgical techniques or improving existing techniques
