• Achieve market performance targets/budgets for an identified set of markets.
• Identify and justifiably recommend the need for price adjustments based on competitor forces/fare movements or requirement to stimulate demand to your leader and the pricing teams
• Work with other team members, and areas of the business to ensure the best revenue outcome for the network.
• Ensure the demand forecast is optimal across the markets to maximize revenue both at the leg & O&D level.
• Identify opportunities for capacity optimization
• Monitor and set pricing structure and fare levels across the network with the aid of Pricing & inventory analysts.
• Carry out extensive market analysis, competitor analysis, identify trends and implement strategies in the revenue management systems.
• Utilize all available reports and external sources to understand the market performance and the economic environment in which it is operating.
• Use the understanding of the markets to define and implement strategies in the revenue management.
• Manage passenger demand forecast at network, region and route levels and ensure forecast error is controlled through careful analysis and setting of system parameters.
• Negotiate and liaise with sales and planning departments to identify and capitalize on potential revenue generation opportunities through price actions and appropriate inventory controls.
