• You will be responsible for understanding and interpreting the customers’ requirements.
• Implement specific tender strategy as defined in Sales Managers’ Sales Policy and Client Enquiry.
• Initiate preparation of necessary support information from sources both internal and external to the Company.
• Lead Tender Initiation Meetings, when required.
• Prepare and circulate tender preparation programme in line with customer requirements and allocate actions accordingly.
• Co-ordinate and control interfaces with other departments involved in the process, including; Engineering, Service Facility, Projects, Order Management, Quality, Finance, Contract Management and Field Service.
• Instigate the preparation and issue of sub-contract enquiries and expedite quotations.
• Review and validate responses from internal departments and sub-contractors.
• Prepare comprehensive proposal documents, describing technical, commercial and financial aspects of the Company offer.
• Prepare budget or indicative proposals using internal database when possible.
• Support Sales & Bid teams in post tender follow up activity, including co-ordination and preparation of customer questionnaire responses and provision of clarification documentation for negotiation.
