Warehouse Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:
• You will oversee the technical vision and influence the Data platform roadmap.
• You will drive the discussions around engineering deliverables, testing strategy, process and acceptance criteria for the data warehouse team.
• You will engage with Uber and build perspective on Build Vs Buy Vs Adopt strategies. Moreover you will work with stakeholders at a senior level on technical and commercial issues as our team supports and enables Careem’s strategy.
• You will raise the bar for the quality of the code, participate in establishing code principles and guidelines. Furthermore you will be coaching and advising teammates on the selection of methodologies, tools and technologies.
• You will contribute to engineering capability in Careem’s DWH platform on every level, actively seeking out new ways and tools to improve.
• You are a people leader who can provide guidance to engineers who work on tough technical matters and designs impacting all the domains under Careem.
