• optimises the use of key owned channels (Connexions); thought leadership assets (e.g. Trade in Transition); executive spokesmen (e.g. Chairman) and news features (eg EXPO 2020 legacy)
• is aligned with immediate term objectives for the businesses and the brand
• draw on specialist experience and learning from the wider external world
• complying with DP World Principles, Code of Conduct and Ethical policies
• enables investment to be justified on the basis of robustly measured outcomes and ROI
• expand and strengthen professional skill sets and best practices
• Measurement. To work within the framework of a strategic Dashboard of measurements which:
• provides a manageable calendar of key internal communications activities across the year
• maintaining the highest levels of Safety standards
• meeting all agreed standards for the new DP World Brand and Visual Identity.
• drawing on the inputs of appropriate external specialist agencies
• the effective application of world-class professional internal communications skills
• monitors the effectiveness of Internal Relations activities against defined objectives
• Tactical Responsiveness. To maintain the ability to respond to unforeseen changes, including:
• Continuous Improvement. To encourage and nurture a culture of innovation designed to:
• Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound.
• Act as an ambassador for DP World
• issues or problems which were not anticipated
• test and validate new ideas and approaches
• Implementation. To contribute substantively to the implementation of the Internal Relations Plan, through:
• tracks overall progress against objectives for employee attitudes and engagement (‘My World Survey’)
• Compliance. To constantly adhere to and actively promote behaviours which reflect the DP World Brand Purpose while specifically:
• at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
