SENIOR LEGAL & DATA PROTECTION COUNSEL

Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement and oversee appropriate data protection controls and measures at DP World, including but not limited to, a data protection policy, strategy & framework.
• Analyse and identify emerging regulatory and data protection risks which may impact the Group in current and future operations.
• Advise on data protection matters and data protection legislation affecting DP World, including, but not limited to, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• Act as the designated Data Protection Officer for the Group, and oversee, and act as the main point of contact for, all data protection issues and matters affecting DP World.
• Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of legal documents (including corporate and commercial agreements, joint venture agreements, management services agreements, finance etc.), ensuring that legal requirements are met within such documents.
• Monitor DP World’s data protection compliance and advise on its data protection obligations in all jurisdictions in which the Group operates.
• Provide pro-active, effective, reliable and user-friendly support, advice and assistance to senior managers within DP World on legal, and specifically data privacy, matters affecting any aspect of DP World’s business.
• Manage transactions in association with other senior business managers to ensure that legal, operational and commercial objectives are met.
• Assist in the identification, management and control of legal and related operational risks relating to all aspects of DP World’s business.
