• Ensure adherence to internal policies, processes and procedures for all technical services projects following applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with executives and senior management.
• Ensure that all tasks are carried out with a high degree of professionalism.
• Provide effective people management.
• Provide continuous motivation and development of the team, including setting adequate and measurable goals / objective setting to aide staff development with ongoing review.
• Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team and train others on regulatory requirements.
• Formulate the strategic plans and objectives of the Department consistent with the policies of Jumeirah.
• Ensure that the Department is adequately resourced with suitably competent, qualified personal within budgeted parameters to achieve the stated strategic plan.
• To compile long and short term objectives for the department in keeping with the objectives of the company.
• Ensure succession and career planning is in place for Senior Technical Service personnel.
• Ensure direct reports are suitably appraised and have appropriate IDPs in place.
• Review, approve and implement of Operational policies and procedures.
