Partnerships Manager

Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders including senior management
• Build and own operational relationships with external partners (including Banks, Schemes and Fintechs) and Careem Pay teams – including, Engineering, Product, Risk,
• Compliance and others – to enable our products to succeed in the marke t
• Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery against milestones
• Contribute to our partnerships strategy and goals: Who we want to partner with across the region, why, when and how
• Identify inefficiencies in the operating model with partners and propose, scope, and drive process improvements

Job Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of payments value chain (both Issuing & acceptance), business models, players and industry trends
• Laser focused on growth, speed and results on a daily basis
• Proven ability to independently engage with cross-functional internal stakeholders and external partners
• Self-starter with high level of ownership and limited need for oversight and support
• Willing to get hands dirty — this role involve both strategy and implementation
• Willing to take risks and make quick, informed judgment calls
• Ideally possessing a project management qualification such as PMO
• Top-tier educational background and at least 3 years of partner/program management and/or business operations experience at Banks, Schemes or Fintechs
