We are looking for a/anSales Manager Industry to join our FEWIBU team in United Arab Emirates.
Purpose of the job - technical and commercial sales responsibilities for ME market developing relationships with new and existing customers selling applications and products related to Fertilizers Pulp and Paper IWT Chemical Process Industry F&B Metal and Mining such as all applicable rotating equipment. Represent the company towards customers and achieve given sales targets.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent personal and professional contact to key customers keeping excellent sales and high customer satisfaction.
- Build a pipeline of opportunities and develop relationships with key customers in Middle East (except KSA) and Pakistan.
- Visit customers undertake project discussions and presentations of Sulzer Industry portfolio.
- Understand and document the market e.g. shutdown calendars recent field developments recent awards etc.
- Gain additional pre-qualifications with customers.
- Evaluate technical customer inquiries and make recommendation to Manager as to whether to quote or decline.
- Internally be involved with multiple departments such as engineering procurement manufacturing and the like.
- Be aware and involved in providing feedback to enable accurate calculation of project costs and sales pricing. Evaluate price strategies for order achievement
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations (supported by the tendering team).
- Handle technical and commercial clarifications for proposals.
- Negotiate projects and support order winning.
- Work closely with our global Sulzer Industry offices as well as our agents in the relevant Middle East Countries.
- Prepare handover documents to Project Management of orders received and its related support to the project up to all contractual delivery requirements.
- Ensure that all business activities conform to local laws and regulations and are following company policies and procedures.
- Ensure company enquiry/order database currently SalesForce and all other relevant software used by WIBU department is kept up to date.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- B.E / B. Tech / Diploma Mechanical Engineer.
- Min 7 years experience living and working in ME. With over 10 years of overall relevant experience in sales of similar products (Fertilizers Pulp and Paper IWT Chemical Process Industry F&B Metal and Mining).
- Previous experience of working in Sales & Proposal departments /team handling multiple projects / enquiries.
- Sulzer Product know-how is an advantage. Customer service orientated.
- Ability to read Engineering drawings specifications and tender documents.
- Strong Sulzer Product knowledge application and market segment .
- Industry expertise.
- Technical & Commercial proficiency.
- Presentation skills.
- Relationship builder - Customer centric mindset and problem-solving awareness.
- Attention to detail ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capability to handle different work pressure at certain periods.
