This role is vital for driving efficient operations timely task completions quality reporting and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule maintenance tasks follow up on outstanding issues and ensure timely completion.
Prepare and administer routine reports department meeting minutes and operational paperwork.
Organize resources and set prioritiesespecially for maintenance workflows across guest rooms communal areas and infrastructure systems.
Coordinate with Engineering trades and external vendors to schedule services repairs and preventive maintenance ensuring quality standards and cost efficiency.
Facilitate effective communication with departments like Housekeeping and Front Desk to promptly address guest-related maintenance requests.
Maintain accurate documentation of all engineering activitiesincluding work orders inspections repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
Support budgeting processes by tracking expenditures preparing cost reports and aiding the Engineering Manager in monitoring project timelines and budgets.
Uphold safety standards by ensuring compliance with local and hotel regulations. Assist in emergency response measures and support sustainability initiatives within the department.
