Communications Manager, UAE, ISCC

Amazon UAE is seeking an experienced strategic and versatile communications professional to support communication efforts across the UAE.

This role will report directly to the Head of UAE Communications and will be responsible for developing and executing integrated communications strategies that span both corporate and consumer communications. The ideal candidate will bring a holistic approach to communications blending traditional media relations with digital and social media expertise to create impactful integrated campaigns.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of creating and implementing communications strategies that drive business results and enhance brand reputation.

Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies that align with Amazon UAEs business objectives
Lead proactive campaigns across product and feature launches and other milestone moments.
Work closely with key stakeholders to create and execute truly integrated campaigns across all channels.
Manage and coordinate with communications agencies and contractor teams to ensure consistent delivery and messaging.
Support content development and review needs in Arabic and English across (but not limited to) press releases talking points briefing documents case studies and other collateral for the media that advance Amazon strategic priorities in the UAE.
Create and track KPIs coverage reports and campaign effectiveness metrics to demonstrate impact.
Manage corporate communications initiatives to build and maintain Amazons reputation in the UAE.
Manage executive communications and profiling for key media opportunities and industry events.
Create and implement integrated campaigns leveraging traditional digital and social media channels.
Provide strategic communications counsel to internal executives on both short and long-term challenges and opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers.
Successfully manage complex and fast-moving communications challenges and issues with media.
Collaborate with international teams to ensure consistency in global messaging while adapting for local market needs.

- Extensive experience in communications at a senior level
- Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing or related field
- Proven track record of developing and executing integrated communications campaigns
- Experience in developing and executing creative brand narratives and strategies either in start-up environments or within established multinational companies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English
- Strong media relations skills and established network of media contacts.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

- Expertise in digital and social media communications
- Experience managing multiple agencies
- Knowledge of the UAE media landscape and consumer behavior
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
- Experience with data-driven communications strategies and measurement
