We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in infrastructure and road projects to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction management team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects through accurate cost estimation budgeting and contract management.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and road projects
- Develop and manage project budgets forecasting costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze contract documents and prepare tender packages
- Negotiate and administer contracts with contractors and suppliers
- Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare bills of quantities
- Monitor project costs and report on variances
- Prepare and analyze cost reports for project stakeholders
- Assess and value variations and claims
- Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and other team members to optimize project costs
- Stay updated on local construction regulations and standards in the UAE
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field
- Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g. RICS AACE)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure and road projects
- Experience working in the Middle East preferably in the UAE
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g. CostX Causeway)
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- Indepth knowledge of infrastructure and road construction processes
- Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in the UAE
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent problemsolving and negotiation skills
