- Maintains the standards of performance as detailed in the Departmental Operations Manual to ensure the efficient operation of the department in accordance with Hotel Policy.
- Team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.
- Assists in establishing the identity of the outlet by providing the standards of food presentation required by each outlet.
- Maintains and cleanliness at work areas kitchen equipment and utensils to the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene required by the hotel.
- To assist in the implementation of the various food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP and other Municipality regulations.
- Responds to any changes in the Food and Beverage function as dictated by the industry company or hotel.
Qualifications :
- Hotel experience
- 12 Years experience in similar role
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Always displays a professional appearance.
- A genuine passion for gastronomy and the art and flair for creating unique and memorable dining experiences.
- Working understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
- Previous experience in highvolume kitchens.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
